I am looking for information as to whether or not The Weimaraner are good working/search dogs? I am lead to believe that as they are members of the "pointer" family, they are very good. I am interested in learning about the traits of these dogs, and whether or not they would be suitable for Passive Indication exercises. Any help, advice offered would be much appreciated. I can be contacted at brian@watson573.fsnet.co.uk
Many thanks.

Yes they are good passive search dogs and are used as such in various airports etc etc etc.

they have a phenomenal nose and excel in scent work.
