I have a 9 m/o staffy bull terrier and i have been feeding him adult dog roll for
about 4-5 months, is this good for my puppy? should i put him back on puppy
biscuits?

Hi
welcome to the board.
I would consider that dog roll is not a good food for a dog of any age...but then that is just my opinion.
I would be using a good quality puppy complete or nature diet at 9 months if I didn't feed BARF

Hi, your puppy should not need biscuits.   Cereal is not a natural food for a dog of any age.  Those dog rolls are okay to feed sometimes but I would not feed them on a regular basis  [too much rancid restaurant grease for a start].  If I did not feed BARF most of the time I would feed Nature Diet.

oh k thanks, but is it like puppy biscuits, why is complete better then biscuits?
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 28.11.04 07:58 UTC
The biscuits are just biscuit, the complete has everything in dried form, meat, bisctuits and vitamins etc

Hi staffy01
If you buy your dog food from a supermarket or pet store you will see many varieties of complete pet food.I would try to steer clear of anything 'pretty coloured' since as with human foods this means additives have been used to make it look nice ...and dogs don't care how it looks just how it tastes.
