I'm looking at changing my dogs onto a completely BARF diet and am thinking of using Landywoods as a supplier. I have heard mixed reviews about them but everything I have heard is either 2nd or 3rd hand - has anyone on here had any personal experience of them?

Also I notice they do a meat and veg mix - would the amount of veg in these be ok to feed a dog two meals a week on without the need to add more veg to their diet? Or would I still have to add my own veg to each meal? (My dogs won't eat an entire veg meal). I can't seem to find out exactly how much veg is in a 454g pack.

I use Landywoods and they great.The food is top notch..or so my boys tell me and the service has always been excellent.Nice freindly people to deal with.
My boys LOVE the meat and veg mix.There seems to be a split decision on here as to wether dogs need veg or not but I do feed mine some.They get the meat and veg mix alone with a variety of other meals but I also make my own veg mixed with meat and offal.All I do is once a month go and buy lots of veggies....the cheap short sell by dated ones will do.I buy a mixture of root and above ground veggies and use a food processor to chop them finely.I then add heart( which is a muscle meat NOT offal) and a variety of offal.I then freeze in about 1lb portions and then 2 or 3 times a week mix into my frozen meat from Landywoods.The proportions of veg to meat I use in my mix is about half and half but because of the meat my boys love it
