I have a puppy, even thought she is going outside (bless her) obviously she still has messes in the house as she is not fully house trained.
I would like to ask if anyone can tell me which disinfectant is good for cleaning my kitchen floor after her. I ask this as I know some disinfectants can acutally attract them to return to the spot (or so i have heard) are there any special brands of which will clean away there odours?
I know the vet's surgery use some kind of spray on the tables if an animal messe's, i am not sure if i should be using something like that?
If nobody can help i will ask my vet on my next visit.
Thanks everyone!
It's pine disinfectant that can cause them to reuse an area because it contains ammonea, and that smells similar to urine. You can buy special cleaners for clearing up after puppies in most pet shops, or you could use anything that isn't pine. There are loads of products about now that smell of lemon.
HTH, Claire :-)

Products containing bleach are bad. Mixing a solution of biological washing powder is good, followed by a wipe down with surgical spirit.

There's Virkon or Sanosil, but I think Virkon is the one that's used the most.
