If you are looking for a show prospect and potential brood bitch I would go along to some champ shows and see which lines you like. You must also make sure that any bitch you buy is from a good line healthwise and that all dogs and bitches behind the pup have suitable health test results.You should buy from someone who consistantly produces good show dogs. 
You should also buy from a breeder who you are comfortable with and who offers long term help and advice since they should be your first 'port of call' when in comes to breeding and should become your 'mentor' hopefully. Do not be put off by endorsements on a pedigree..it shows the breeder is trying to ensure the best for her dog and her breed
