could anyone give me any ideas on how to stop my puppy licking my older dog behind the ears(I've checked and theres nothing wrong with the ears). She is a longish hair breed and has constant mats because of the licking. I bought a spray from a show once which was nearly guaranteed to stop him as he wouldnt like the taste...he loved it and licked more. Thanks

Put a snood on the older one?

Some dogs do delight in licking other dogs ears but generally inside not behind - are you sure there is no spot or anything there as if one has a spot or anything others, again, will sometimes worry at it till it is raw

Try using a little essential oil on the fur, good ones (safe) are Tea Tree, Lavender, Lemon - you can dilute with alcohol (Vodka).  The smell and taste should be effective.
