Guest, crossbreeding is not a good idea especially with two breeds that already have bad reputations due to careless owners (not aimed at anyone) If you are serious about breeding Shar Peis then find out about them first maybe own one and show one before you think about breeding. Get to know some breeders just dont dive into it any thing money money money. Also if you are going to buy a dog as a pet/show then the best thing to do is get a puppy from a good breeder that does all the nessasary health checks and cares for the breed.

I think its very lucky for the rottweiler puppies that the man was able to foster them with the bitch, If it harmed her in no way, and the puppies might not have survived or had to be bottled reared otherwise then I think it is a good situation all round. I would like to think if god forbid one of my bitches could not raise her litter that there might be someone else out there who could help.
Seems very vindictive to ressurect an old thread just to have a snipe at someone who has done (IMO) a good deed :-(
