Hello guys,

Is anyone else going on the John Rogerson Working Trials course on the 27/28th Nov (i think).  I am booked onto this course but havent received anything by post advising me of start times etc.  I have sent an e-mail and tried to ring Pauline, who is the administrator of the course, but keep missing her and I'm getting a bit worried now!

Any help greatfully received as always.

Ali :)

I am going as a spectator; you should have received a letter asking for the balance of your money prior to the end of October.

There was a little bit of a mix up I think with the wrong people getting the wrong letters.

Have you tried writing to her or contacting her via the APDT site.......?

I'm going too Ali; i remember you saying ages ago you were going :)

I received my letter a short while ago; Pauline did say there was a waiting list, but you would surely have been on before the list got full? I would def.try to get in touch asap and clarify things.

Hope you are still going :)

Hi guys,

Thanks for being so prompt. I've just re-emailed Pauline and tried to phone her again, but no luck so I've just sent her a letter with an SAE enclosed begging for a confirmation.  I paid in full back in May, so I'll be pretty annoyed if I haven't got a place (and my dogs will never talk to me again)

I originally got a confirmation back saying that I had a place as a spectator on the problem solving weekend, which was news to me, but it was sorted out with Pauline and she sent an e-mail confirming that I was on the correct course.

Ho hum, I suppose I just need to be patient (never one of my strongest points) and cross my fingers.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Cheers Ali:)

Course starts at 9.30, tea and coffee available from 8.30, light lunch provided each day.

The Community Centre is the turning opposite the village shop, past school and is signed on left at top of hill.

Hi guys,

Allyson,
Thanks for the info, at least I know where I'm supposed to be going now!

Still nothing on contacting Pauline I'm afraid.
I've still got a while before the course starts, but if I don't manage to speak to Pauline, I'm not sure what I should do - just turn up and hope?

I'm booked into a B&B in the next village on the Friday and Saturday night so if I haven't got a place, I can still come and watch you through a pair of binoculars!
I'll be the one lurking in the bushes and looking lonely as my two dogs won't be speaking to me any more.

I'll keep you informed.

Cheers Ali:)

Hello all,

Update,

Just got a mail from Pauline saying she had been on her holidays and only just got back. She says that I have definitely got a place on the course (phew!!)

Apparently, I had the wrong e-mail address all along.

Never mind-panic over.

See you guys there

Ali :)
