I think I would do quite a bit of studying on these two breeds Guest. They are so dissimilar that I cannot imagine a person who wants one being satisfied with the other! You are a little late now or I would have recomended a visit to Discover Dogs at Earls Court to see the two breeds in the flesh. As it is too late for that this year I'd suggest a trip to Crufts next March to see the breeds in Discover Dogs there.

Before buying a ddb i would strongly advise you to do plenty of research on them first, although they are a wonderful breed. Why not phone around a few breeders and go to visit some of there dogues, a good breeder will be very helpfull and make sure you know what you are taking on.
