I'm having trouble feeding my 10 wk old whippet pup. He's very fussy and will only pick at what you offer. He does like fresh chicken and rice but needs vitamin supplement SA37, where do I get this from? Any help appreciated as he's lost weight in the week we've had him.

You should be able to get that at any pet shop. It's very widely available.

I find the supplements "Restore" and "Moor Gold" from www.doghealth.co.uk excellent for restoring appetite and general condition, though SA37 is a good general supplement too.

Hi guest, I personally would not recommend SA37 for your pup if it is a fussy eater to start with, unless you give it in tablet form. A lot of good eaters refuse their food with a powder supplement added. You may also find that the pup will eat a little better if you add a small amount of pilchard in tomato sauce to his food.

Restore - in powdered form, was recommended to me for a puppy with a very poor (almost non-existant)appetite ( would only eat a little meat) and subsequently sparse coat, within 7 days she was eating normally, within 3 weeks was almost back to her ideal weight and after a couple of months had a brand new thick coat. I squish it into the meat and it does not appear to be noticed by the dog.
