After following the recent thread about the rottie who bit a child, I heard about a charity 'Justice for Dogs' (phone no. 01544 370213) which offers free advice and assistance on all matters relating from canine welfare to persons in need.  Although they cannot help with legal fees than can offer mediation or help with finding a local solicitor.

I thought this might be a useful contact for anyone finding themselves in a similar situation (God forbid).
By the way does anyone know why the rottie thread was locked or is anyone aware of the eventual outcome ? It was a heartbreaking situation for the owner.

I'm also curious as to know of the outcome??? Please put us out of our misery. Personally I know alot of people don't agree but i hope there was a change of hearts and the poor dog wasnt pts.

When the circumstances are so hazy it could have just been a terrible accident than a malicious biting.
