A friend of mine lives in between a couple with a rottie (very nervous and hand shy)and what the lady calls a Nortern Innuit (apparently 90% wolf )she says she knows this as her mother bred the dog ,then on my friends other side of the fence(about five foot)is a young bullmastiff(male)a collie and a xbreed. My friend is at the stage where she cannot go into her garden let alone let her 2 year old son play in the garden. The Innuit and the bullmastiff are at logger heads snarling and growling all day(both her neighbours work all day and the dogs go in and out of the house at will)she has tried to speak to both of them but is getting nowhere. Do you think the rspca might help?both these male dogs are quite young but are very big and she is petrified that sooner or later they are going to come over her garden and fight it out.Is it the dog owners responsibilty to raise the fence? As it would cost her quite an amout to raise it har self?Any suggestions that might help would be greatly apprieciated(sp)thanks

I think she should contact the local dog warden and voice her concerns.

Or get on to your local council

Or get a trigger spray attachment for her hosepipe & drench the dogs everytime they start

Have you spoken to the neighbours themselves ? If they are out at work all day they may not be aware of the problem?
