I thought I would just tell you all about our horrendous day....my other half took Leon (10 month old GR) to work with him this morning as he does occasionally and decided to take him out for a walk after a couple of hours. They were on the way out of the building when the door blew shut onto OH's arm, he dropped the lead and off went Leon across the main road (with OH sprinting after him) He was clipped by a car on one of his back legs. Fortunately the driver saw him coming and slowed right down. OH got him back into work and checked him over, he seemed ok but was limping slightly. I raced home as quick as poss and we took him to the vets...and it's a provisionally happy ending - he has a graze on his leg and a little bruising but otherwise seems fine!! Just have to wait to make sure he stops limping incase he has damaged his knee ligament. OMG the relief! Have never felt so sick in all my life...I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Poor OH is still feeling horribly guilty and it seems i'm quite incapable of cheering him up. Not that I feel cheerful myself, just so very lucky. And if I knew how to do the little faces this post would be covered in em!!

how terrible for you all ~ glad Leon is ok :)
Must have given you such a fright.....glad he's alright :D
Just to update - Leon is back to normal thank goodness..unfortunately we were too stressed to enjoy the 2 days of peace before back to normal mayhem but I never thought i'd be so glad to have him dig holes in the garden and put mud on the sofa...really appreciating him right now! Cheers for the replies, especially to the lovely lady who e-mailed me about the arnica (have replied to you by e-mail too).
Do you know how to do the little faces yet??? Have a look in your messages :D Glad to hear that Leon is O.K.
Oh crikey I did read that and then completely forgot...thank you!! Lets give it a try... :)
