I can't look at the internet much at the moment and don't manage to post very often.  No reason for this post except I had to say that some of the things I have read here recently have really made me realise how lucky I am - it's hard to do this sometimes isn't it - and I'm sure most of you feel the same. 

My day so far has been spent with my wonderful dog - two hour walk in our beautiful local woods with our best friends, human and canine, in the autumn sunshine.  Lovely fun time bathing the remnants of dead hedgehog off wonderful dog's coat!!  Bits of housework and washing up watching a flock of long-tailed tits play in the garden.  Laughing out loud at wonderful dog having pushed all cushions off sofa and lying upside down fast asleep.  Laughing even louder at wonderful dog getting up now half flatcoat and half 'fluffy coat' where she's dried all sticking up.  Lots and lots of cuddles with wonderful dog realising how lucky I am.  I do hope some of you are also having good days and am thinking of those of you who are not so fortunate.

I too had a great day in the woods yesterday with my dog and my mum and her dog. They both got off the lead (dogs not mum :D) and were running around like a pair of pups. Trees were all lovely colours and the sun was shining. I strive to find remote places to go so the dogs can run about uninterrupted and that was one of those perfect locations.

Today I'm at work - not quite so perfect!
