we rehomed a beautifull neglected 2.5 yr old in april o4 .he is fab in the home but a nightmare on walks if he sees annother dog ie . jumping lunging singing etc. we keep him on lead if dogs are about but i cannot relax as dogs seem to just run from nowhere. the only times he has seen a dog off lead it is as if he gets tunnle vision and total deafness chasing after it .we dont know if he wants to play with it or eat it and are too worried to find out .i know that things are worse on lead because he cannot run away if charged at. tried dog classes they just drove him mad and stressed me out lots of advice all different .please can anyone help?this is the only problem i have with a fab dog but i feel he is missing out on long walks as i am unable to enjoy them.
