Topic Dog Boards / General / Puppy names!!
- By ClaireH [gb] Date 30.10.04 12:35 UTC
OK, here's a bit of fun, combined with a lot of help (for me!) Anyone got any suggestions for a male Border Collie puppy, suitable for obedience and agility (i.e. not more than two syllables!) Anything will do, it could be the name of a dog you saw on the telly, or the name of your childhood family pet, it doesn't matter. I did come up with Teigan, but everytime I say it, my other dogs think it's tea time!! I also like Rumor, so every time he bites me he will be a vicious rumour! Answers on a postcard............

Just checked out the name Tegan on several 'name' websites, inc. behindthename.com, and Tegan/Teagan comes up as a unisex name, meaning 'little poet'. Ahhhh!

- By ClaireH [gb] Date 06.11.04 01:18 UTC
As in byron, get ron free!!

(Rolls about in complete hysterics!)

OR, byron, get harry potter free, OR, no ok I'll stop now, before I hurt myself.

See, this is why my dogs and this computer are my only friends.

No Claire this is why people who post on here wanting advice get annoyed when other posters are sarcastic towards them, I will take it as you meant it thank you
- By ClaireH [gb] Date 06.11.04 19:56 UTC
Who said anything about being sarcastic? It's called a sense of humour. Don't be so sensitive, it is a lovely name. Maybe the joke just got lost in writing.
