Hi all, my pup has just returned from neurologist who is investigating a muscle infection but itll take time for blood work etc, he has antibiotics and to eat normally!!! thats the problem the only thing he is interested in is markies.  He wont touch any dry food and these are treats but we need to build him up, any advice is this ok or does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about feeding him something else. 

He still is not walking but small improvements every day.

Personally I'd be giving him meat (beef, lamb, chicken) Fish (fresh salmon if necessary, sardines, pilchards, cod etc.) eggs, and anything else I could get him to eat, vegetables, rice, mixer bikkies - and markies if he really wanted them :D  Anything to get food inside him at this stage ;)

Seriously tho, if he won't eat dry complete you could try soaking it in meat/fish juices and adding some meat/fish.  Or you could try the tins of complete, or anything else you can think of.  If he's ill its more important to keep him eating than worrying about the ideal diet.  You can do that once he's back to normal :)

One tip, if the antibiotic gives him the runs, then a little Bio Yoghurt in his food will help enormously :)

Thanks ever so much.  I got a puppy complete and he wolfed half a tin!!!!! and of course more markies but i just want to keep him eating, ill hit the shops in the morning for some supplies i think.  The wee pet still trying to play legs getting stronger so lets hope we are on the right road! fingers crossed.

If he's getting some good food then he'll have more strength to fight this and recover.
