OK hopefully someone on here may have heard of this.

My daughter a dog groomer was bitten very badly across the elbow 11 weeks ago, necessitation a three day stay in hospital.

She has been getting strange symptoms since then, losing muscle tone, pains up and down her arm (not at site of bite) strange discolouration of hand, numbness, flaking skin etc.

She saw a specialist yesterday and he has diagnosed CRPS, and has referred her to a physiotherapist.

She hasn't been able to work since the bite and just wondered if anyone had any experience of this and recovery time etc. etc.

I too suffered from CRPS, after fracturing my elbow some 8 years ago (result of a mugging ) and because I didn't bother that much with physio at the time (hurt too much, needed to get back to work) it has left me with problems that I'm having to work on now!
