Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / UPDATE ON BULLY - FOOD GIVEN BY VET
- By Lorna Jane [gb] Date 04.11.04 15:32 UTC
Hello just wanted to update with regards to my post belove abt food, i partner and i was told JWB food and that my bully would get vegetarian turns out as people are correct on posts below and checked myself on net JWB don't do vegetarian, the brand name and food my partner has just picked up from the vets is called Wafcol and is Vegetarian, my question is my bully is nearly 7 months and the food we have been given quote:- when is pup adult ? as i have checked the web site and no puppy veg, only high protein puppy, which of course i can't give him, so am i ok to give him the food below.

Wafcol Vegetarian:
for all Adult Dogs. Dogs, just like humans, are omnivores and so are not necessarily dependent upon meat as a source of protein. Wafcol Vegetarian is a nutritionally balanced, complete food that has been developed for when meat cannot be fed.

Like many people on this site my pups are changed onto adult food by the time they are 6 months, I find that they grow at a steadier rate like this and don't outgrow their bones and joints.

So at 7 months it wouldn't worry me one bit to change him to adult food.
