Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / iceing a cake

Hi to all.
Just wondering if it would be ok to put iceing on my dog's Birthday cake (Liver cake)?
Would it be ok? Or can it harm?
Regards.

I can't see that it would do any harm, but as icing is mostly pure sugar - would you want your dog to eat it ? :)

Why not make a "lovely" butter-type icing with a meat pate (one of the Ceaser mini meals, maybe?)  After all - if it's liver cake, you're not having a slice as well - are you????

How about peanut butter or melted dog choc drops?

I use cream cheese to ice my doggy cakes.  You can whip it up and pipe it too, if you want.  The dogs love it!
bye
