I work in a large office and every children in need all the teams do different fund raisers.  Last year we got loads of sweets from macro and did guess the sweets in the jar - how original   anyway someone has stolen our idea this year so we are looking for new funky ideas as we are quite a young office ;)

One time, we "charged" each other 1p every time we answered someone else's phone - quite a lot of fun as well, trying to see if you could answer someone's phone before they could - and trying to get your own calls before they got yours!

I think we raised something like £15 in one day, in a smallish (12 people) office.

Maybe not appropiate for work but at school we are holding a slave auction (bid for teachers or 6th formers and you get a slave to carry your books, and write down anything you say!)  we are also holding weakest link with teachers being contestants, pay to watch! also xbox challenge of a game.  Thats our lot for the school.  Also 6th formers will be in school uniform and lower school wearing anything they like but must wear something yellow!

Doubt they will be appropriate for a work place though! (school uniform might be!?!?!)  get sponserd to do so... :D

How about making a collage of pics of the staff as babies and getting everyone to pay for guessing whos who. You could throw a couple of celeb pics as red herrings and maybe offer a bottle of wine as a prize.

The baby photo one is already being done, I did think of doing a dog one and match the dog to the owner :D :D :D

Someone did a slave auction last year, the managing director ended up doing the filing, im sure we could try the school uniform as we are having a dress down day :D :D :D.

Name the doll/toy,just buy a cheapie 'cuddly' from a charity shop tie a huge ribbon around the neck, then put 100 or so names on a sheet, charge 50p/£1 per name and the name selected from a draw gets to take the cuddly home! Easy, cheap, helps the charity shop and your cause both at the same time. :)

You could all pay to wear yellow and double if you dont, tasting different foods etc blindfold and guessing what they are, guess the weight of certain items like jars of sweets etc, fancy dress famous cartoon theme, draw pictures and guess who has done them, decorated desk competition, swear box, sponsored head shave chest /leg wax for the men, ladies get the men to do their make-up, if you dont all know each others families you could do guess the parent/siblings.

Hi, at school I have done things like:

Mad Hair day
Wear your pyjamas
Dress up as a pirate, cowboy or Indian!
Sponsered Spelling test
Left-Handed Day
Karaoke
Pub quizes
Welly throwing -throwing wellys around your office? hmm, lol
Good luck with what ever you choose to do :)
