I dont like the jwb, i would change the dogs food on to something else, as it sounds like he isnt happy with the one he is on.

Hi,
I feed JWB with excellent results and find it extremely difficult to find another feed as good this that produces the excellent results for my dogs. They poo ONLY once aday ,very fim and does not smell.
It maybe Jwb just isnt suiting this particular dog.
What you are describing is definately not suiting the dog,so therefore change off JWB to another good quality food such as Burns or Royal Cannin.Do this over a 2 week period slowly NOT over a couple days as this is NOT long enough.
Also just check that it is ONLY JWB your friend has been feeding her Rottie as any titbits, bones certain biscuits adult oR dog may affect her dogs stools.
My dogs are ONLY fed JWB this is a balanced complete feed I have no need to give them supplement ,biscuits or treats.
The only treats they have is when they are at shows in the ring when they have chiken or liver or beef pieces, but once home they have nothing else except ON xmas day SOME tURKEY AND GRAVEY ADDED ,or young puppies may add tripe for body but again rarely.
If things do not improve after switching feed seek vet advice if not before.
Briony :-)
It sounds like this food is not suiting the puppy. Has your friend spoken to his/her breeder (assuming they didn't breed the puppy) it may be that they have changed his diet since acquiring him. I have never fed a complete only feed a natural diet and all my pups are reared this way
Hi rugrott yes its the same food that the breeder was feeding, she dose give other treats so i have told her to stop for a bit and just feed the jwb and nothing else and if no change in his poos then see the vet and think about changing his food. thanks for posting all.
