Ok so another food recipie question...does anyone know how to make proper custard...I can't find it anywhere.  I want to give it a try, I am fed up of everything being ready made....I am going though my phase of can cook WILL cook....

A quickie way of making nicer custard (not as nice as real tho') is to use evaporated milk :)

The last time I tried to make proper custard it turned into scrambled egg!!!

Sainsbury's do a gorgeous one with real vanilla bits in - it's good enough to eat without any thing else, which in fact is what i did last time i got a pot

He he I'm going to try it afew times before we have the guests over...I always used to make custard from powder and milk and sugar and I always got it perfect but I want to learn to do things from scartch!
