Hi, I am looking for the open show judge critique for gundogs at Bon Accord Kennel Assoc. in July. I am not sure if the critique was published or not. can anybody help? Thanks.

Thanks Polly and Linda, I am not sure if it already published because I missed 2-3 issues of them. My dog is a Flatcoated retriver, even though stand alone in the class, I still excited and want to read the critique.

I did the same, missed a few issues(end of Sept I think)as my sub. ran out, would someone be kind enough to check the crits for Sedgefield have not been published yet, it was on 14th August and the judge was Mr R Mosedale for AVNSC gundog, it will be our first crit so I can't wait!

It isn't included in the Our Dogs reports as yet.

This may seem like a daft question but it has puzzled me for a while but have only now thought to ask! When the judge writes a crit do they sent it to both papers or just one? I have a sub. to Dog World(bought Our dogs once but didn't like it) and have heard they contain pretty mich the same info, is it the same with crits?

Yes the same critiques go to both papers. Sometimes it is printed in one and not the other. I had a critique not printed in Dog World, but Our Dogs did print it. Other times I have had to really chase the papers, to get anythng in print! I always make sure they have the critique now by emailing it, posting a copy and faxing it! That way they can't say they didn't receive it, which has happened too many times, to judges.

Which breed are you interested in and I'll check for you ?

Judges send (or should do) critiques to both dog papers. They are usually supplied at the show with prepaid addressed envelopes to do so - tho' many now email them.
