Hi All,
I recently bought Murfee a "Nylabone Durable for strong chewers" from Pets At Home. The problem is, within 12 hours of him having it he has completely wrecked it :( It says in the instructions that if they bite large chunks out of them, you should take them away (which of course I did, before it got to that stage) The reason I bought him a Nylabone is because he likes to chew another bone indoors ( he has RMBs outside about twice a week) although he has just turned 2 he is still attached to his "after dinner, breakfast, in fact anytime" chew.
He has a Kong that gets stuffed with biscuits/dried liver everyday and has grown tired of chewing this as it is not as satisfying for him.
I have bought him the biggest and toughest bone that they currently do, has anybody else got any ideas as to what I can give to him to satisfy his indoor chewing desire, but also that is not going to be detrimental to him? I will not give him rawhide or those very hard bones stuffed with artificial meat because of choking/damage to teeth. I really am at a loss as to what to give him that he will enjoy but won't destroy :) :)
