I have a 5 month old lab bitch who is 46cm to the shoulder, im just wondering how much more she will grow???
someone said they should be near final height at 5 months .

at 5 months your pup will only be 1/2 grown, she will still have more growing to do, so dont despair! :-)

Your pups still got a long way to go before she stops growing, shes just a puppy yet. The ideal height for Lab bitches is 55-56cm & 56-57 for males. I`d take no notice of whoever told you she should be nearly final height at 5mths old.

Mine never make it until 2 years old! If mine were much bigger than yours at 5 months I would be worried!!

I presume you are in the UK, that is the sizes Christine has quoted (Incidentally Christine hit the wrong key on the bitche's minimum size, it is 54cm :) ) If you are in the US the sizes are, Bitches 21.5 to 23.5 inches (54cm to 60cm) and dogs, 22.5 to 24.5 inches (57cm to 62cm)

Ignore the advice that a lab is at its final height at 5 months - complete nonsense. She still has a lot of growing to do, and will finally finish growing from anything between 18 to 24 months. By 12 months you have what will be the frame of the dog, they they mature. So don't worry what so ever.
