my OH feeds the dog left over wafer thin ham, turkey etc i keep telling him not to will it be really bad for her or not in moderation

I would think that if it is only left overs it will be a rare thing so should be okay :)

theres no reason why a wee bit of ham now and again should be a bad thing my dogs love to get scraps mixed in with their dinner :-)
