Hello, I hope there is someone out there who can help, I want to rescue or buy a whippet,

I live in the Humberside region, so if anyone knows of any breeders in that area, I would appreciate a name and address.

I also wondered about the cost of a whippet, as I am not interested in showing or anything like that, It would be a well loved pet, ( I wondered if this affected the price? ).

There is an official Whippet Rescue: 01234 838927 (Mrs Jones), they should be able to advise you on all aspects of whippets.

Does it have to be a purebred ? Little "whippety" lurchers are very loving animals and not all are as big as we think of a lurcher as being. Lots of info on internet. Good luck.

Someday, I'd love to find a whippety Lurcher or a whippet between 12-22 pounds :D Italian Greyhounds are too tiny & fragile, but regular whippets run between 25-38 pounds & since they're skinny, they're taller than what I want. Someday, maybe I'll find a mix that fits what I desire :D I have no snobbery when it comes to purebred or mutt....
