I would like to purchase a Maltese puppy for my mother who would very much like one.  However, I am unfamiliar with this particular breed.  Do they come with different coat lengths as my mum has only really seen ones with shorter hair.  Are they easy to acquire and if so how much can they cost?

I would appreciate any info anyone could give me.

They all have longer continually growing coats thet need expert care If your mother wants a short haired pet she would be better off chosing another breed that has a naturally shorter coat. They are not a common breed & can be difficult to find
