Plz does anyone know why my 18 month labrador has been eating his and other dogs poo. Would it be an idea to change his food to a lower protein diet? he's on Purina Pro Plan at the moment. ny ideas?

This subject has been discussed many times before.  If you can do a search on 'copraphagia' you should find some information as it is quite a common problem for owners (though not, seemingly, for the dogs!).
