I am going through abit of a dilema at the moment as I have to put one of my dogs in the kennels for 2 weeks as I am going into hospital. I have 3 other dogs that are being looked after by friends but this one is abit loud and gets over excited so sadly I cannot send him to a friend as he will wreck their house. I love this dog and I am worried that he might feel like he is being punished as he is beig put in a starnge place and way from the others. I have no option but I am worried how it will affect him. I have selected a smaller run famnily kennels (they only take upto 20 dogs at a time).

Do you tihnk he will be ok ?

If he has to go to kennels could he not go for an overnight stay so he knows your picking him up?
If he were mine I would book one of my other dogs in with him and take his own blanket and toys for company.
Most dogs dont give a hoot when the owners have gone though :-)
