we are a family in west lothian and would like to find out our nearest breeder of soft coated wheaten terriers. Can you please help us ?

Well let me just say you have picked a wonderful breed to have as a family dog :D I have three soft-coated wheaten terriers and they are gorgeous! You best chance of getting a puppy is if you contact the lady that runs the puppy list but unfortunately you haven't left any contact details so you will need to look on the website at http://www.wheaten.org.uk and click on contacts & links and then click on the icon on the left there you will find the details that you need. May I also suggest (if you haven't done so already) that you go and see wheaten terriers in the home before you get one as may people change their opinions on them when the see how energetically the greet you!! :D I hope you find you wheaten and enjoy he/she when they get there :) Best of luck

Have you contacted the Breed secretary Judy Creswick on 01670512832, Judy will help you all she can with Area Representatives in West Lothian.  The breed likes you to visit Wheatens in the home before they give you breeders names. You will be sent a pack and in it will be an appliation form for the puppy list, but you must have been to see an Area Rep before a breeder will consider you  If you can not get Judy contact me privately.

My Eldest Bitch is a Starcadia, My Irish Dog is a Kinaelan its his birthday today and he is 2 years old and the youngest is my own breeding Peteneira who is out of Stevelyn x Starcadia who are yours from?

Our oldest dog is Emalot and our two irish puppies (bitch and a dog) are bred from Caidantes Kellynack Chynora Avec Hobel and Caidantes Just Top Totty at Calvenace.

I know Hobes very well as I do his breeder debbie and your girls breeders and her owners.  Tracey and Steve are a really nice couple as is Carole Barnes Davies.  Lynne Wassall of the Emalot affix is a very fun person

Which do you prefer The English or the Irish?  The puppies must take after Hobes as Top Totty is very much a heavy coat.

Do you show and will you be at MC tomorrow?

I much prefer the Irish type coat but I do like the English particularly when they are puppies. The bitch puppy that we have had the most Irish coat out the litter and the dog has fairly Irish coat there are pics on Debbie's website of our pups. They are the one with no ribbon and know as lil boy or sometimes bonzo, and the bitch with the white ribbon know as lil Irish girl. We won't be going to MC tomorrow but we will be showing the puppies when they are old enough. The dog puppy that we have is in part ownership with Steve and Tracey so they will also be showing him.
