My 18 month old goldie bitch was spayed at the beginning of september with no problems, 2 months after her first season. Recently she seems to be particularly interesting to other dogs (Not sure if it is just males or both), but they are very persistent in sniffing her between her hind legs. One male even mounted her (although the owner said that he can get a little confused sometimes (he was neutered), but on the same walk several dogs were particularly interested too. Its a problem as she is a little nervous of other dogs and is getting quite defensive and snappy if they push too much, and the other dogs don't take any notice.
I can't smell anything though so i don't think its anal glands e.t.c. Also recently she appears to be weeeing alot and drinking a lot, although i am not sure if it is enough to worry about. (It may also be scent marking.) FInally when she poos, it can be quite a yellowy colour and loose (Not always), but she isn't going any more than usual. As a pup she had a similar problem but the vets couldn't find anything wrong. (Her diet hasn't changed).
Could these problems be connected in any way?

You should have seen Willis after I had Phoebe spayed - he had to have 16 valium in 6 hours to calm him down! (didn't work)

Even now he will have a good sniff at Pheeb - and I wonder if its around the time she would have come into season....

One of the unfortunate by products of spaying is that some bitches ARE more attractive to dogs and this is something which never goes away I'm afraid. I had my Bethany spayed when she went epileptic and she was one! Of course, she was a right flirt so she thought it was marvellous!

Oh dear! Is there anything i can do to reduce her attractiveness?

Sorry, not that I ever found. But in her case she loved all dogs and had so much body language that she could cope with no bother.

As Isabel has said, if you are concerned then have a word with your vet but even at two months the poos and the drinking could still be the after effects of the spaying. Lets face it, a human would still be feeling very poorly!

A friend of mine used to rub lavendar oil around the base of her dogs tail and it seemed to deter the dogs.

In view of the increased thirst and the change in poos I think I would have her checked over by a vet.

No your right J, I don`t usually :D :D
I was replying to this post about when my boys were very in teresteted in Bonnie (speyed) & Sweepy (not speyed) took them to vet cos knew something wasn`t right & both had vaginal infection. But when I posted reply it all dasappeard & also the whole thread!!! Maybe my comp?? Anyway, gave it a while & it now seems OK I think......
So, they both had swobs & turned out had minor infection which made them very attractive to the boys but its also happpened to my non speyed girl another time since & for me it was very good indication infection like the time before & I managed to deal with it very effectivley homeopathicaly & also a few additions to her diet for a while :) I think a minor change/anything abnormal to the bitches normal flora of the vulva could make the boys want to demand further investigation!!!!! :D :D
