Well Tess (SBT pup 23 weeks) has been off lead today for the whole walk gentle stroll around the park and she was brilliant - chasing leaves etc. But coming back when called and keeping me in sight. Pure puppy power unleashed.
She saw horses with riders too and was very good coming back and sitting by me while they passed okay I held her collar - better not to tempt fate. (all that walking passed the stables and fields has paid off )
Stage 2 to come off lead with Sal (adult SBT) ;)

It sounds like you are doing a stellar job in exposing your pup to the world. That is so good. She sounds like a little angel. I commented on the thread about dog bites jogger. I was talking about this very thing.....socialization and how vitally important it is when they're puppies. It's like you have to hurry up and saturate them by the time they're 16 weeks but at the same time you're saturating them, you don't want any frightening experiences to happen to them. Those dogs in that thread sound like they didn't get enough. It sounds like you're doing a great job. It sure pays off.

Thats lovely Karen. Does your heart good to see them doesn't it, a young puppy learning. But then, I never doubted that Tess would turn into a credit to you just as Sal is.
Best wishes, John

Not sure about "credit" but she's doing okay for a pup. Thanks John.
