Just carried out a successful home check for Staff rescue, everything hunky dory and it looks like it will be one less bitch for them to worry about :)
But just to bring me back down to earth with a bump, they told me to check the site and read about this poor little fella named "Jack"... sorry cannot do links
http://www.cleverstaffords.co.uk/jack.htm
Some people should be hung, drawn and quartered.
That poor dog, there are no words to describe people as evil as that.. Such behaviour sickens me. :( Made a small donation to help towards his care though. Hopefully he will find a loving home where people will show him the better side of human companionship.
Some people never cease to amaze me with their horrible ways, just read on RSPCA website about a kitten that was tied(still alive)in a plastic bag full of water and also thrown down a rubbish shoot. Unfortunatley she died due to shock and emaciation(sp??), they are now trying to find the 'owner' incase there was other kittens and a mother who may be being treated badly too.
I hope the site with Jack on keeps us updated on his progress and that he finds the home he deserves, however bad they've been treated so many still adore human company, whoever did that has lost out on a friend for life, hope he gets better soon

I was shocked that any one could do that to a dog but I have to say I am also shocked that they chose to treat him in that condition surely it would have been very much kinder to have put him to sleep, burns are so painful and having had a friend who suffered a bad burn to her leg I know the treatments are often agony and she of course had the knowledge that it would get better.

Hi
contact www.wspa.org.uk to find out about welfare societies in Spain ( and other countries) WSPA has many welfare programmes all over the world and supports local animal charities in the country of origin ( there are lots in Spain ) they will tell you who your nearest one is and how to contact them :-)

After talking with Barbara Green NWest SBT rescue it turns out Jack is relieved they decided to treat him ;)... he is a cracking little dog who has/is coping with the treatment brilliantly and is a true example of the famous temprement many Staffords have. He is now enjoying life re homed with members of Barbaras own family
and is thriving in a household full of youngsters and responsible caring owners :)

Ive read about Jack :( But glad to see hes found Barbara and will be looked after :)
Words fail me that poor defensless dog and the people who have done that call themselves human, know what i call them but words are far too strong to leave on here. I am so pleased that Jack found the right person in Barbara to shower him with lots of love and attention
