OH SH*T,
I have done a search on E&L and yes I am shocked... I have made numerous claims on 3 of my dogs in the past 4.5 years and have never had a problem... my one girl had 5 operations on a pad injury and E&L covered it no problems... I have to say not the quickest (took 4 weeks for payement) but never any problems...
I am a bit worried now as I have a poilicy that is only 4 weeks old.. and my girl is going in for a possible cruciate ligament surgery......I hope I do not have the problems I have read!! or I am in deep poo...

okay, so now we are talking insurance... I have over 10 dogs that I own by myself or co-own with another.. all are insured with E&L.... any recommendations? any offer multiple dog  discounts?
I think after reading the horror stories I will look into a nother company... but hope that E&L  pay this claim...

Suzanne :-(

Do another search, this time put INSURANCE in the search. It has been discussed several times here...the pros and cons of various companies are here to see ;) Basically though, you pays your money, you takes your chance ;) Whilst Petplan is one of the dearer ones, very few people appear to have had any problems with them. A lot of the cheaper insurances have drawbacks (such as, they won't pay out over a certain amount per year or they won't pay out for a problem that LASTS more than a year etc etc)

No no-claims that I am aware of :)

I changed from more than to other insurance company. The premium increased £2 pounds each year for each dog. I never claimed from them. My dogs are 2.2years and 1.2 year old at the time i changed. I called them and asked for the reason which they told me that they do not want to punish the person who claimed. But may be they wish to punish the person who never claimed?
