Is anyone else missing their passes for GBAS. I entered two bitches seperately under different ownerships, and so far have only received one set of passes. I wouldn't care, but unusually for me, I didn't get a proof of posting. Still hopeful.

Got my on Monday, have you tried phoning fosse data? I never get proof of posting but have come across a few people who haven't had their entries recieved at different shows so maybe I will in future.

Hiya Gwen, yes I'm at Northern Spaniel, taking Lily, Kitty and Jasmine. At least that's the plan, with the rain we've had I feel disinclined to waste the time it takes to get so many ready. So here's hoping for a dry few days.

I got Kitty's pass from GBAS OK, but so far Jasmine's hasn't showed up, and I entered her first, only entering Kitty as an afterthought because as you know she's due in season from November onwards.

Are you at Northern Spaniel? If so I'll bring you that cheque, sorry I haven't sent it yet, mind like a sieve.

This weather is a nightmare for keeping them clean, isn't it? I am taking 3 on Saturday, but 2 are only going along for the ride, so to speak, and are cut down!  (Junior and Cecilia).  Did you get you other passes yet?

What a carry on I'm having. I e-mailed the printer (Fossedata) and they have no record of my entry for that particular bitch. However, I checked my bank statement, and found that the cheque has been cashed. So then I rang the Secretary of GBAS, she and her Husband the Treasurer say that I should get a photocopy of the front and back of the cheque and I should be OK.

Damn I wish I'd got a proof of posting. I hope the copy of the cheque satisfies the KC.

I know that I could show the bitch regardless, but I'd hate to be disqualified from any place she might get.

Whilst I know proof of posting is the "Classic" proof of entry, I would have thought that the cashed cheque is even better proof - after all, it proves it actually arrived!

Hi Fiona, Stacey is Engleberts sister (Ambroses' first Ch son)  She takes after her mum with very irregular and infrequent seasons, this  was only her 2nd Season, and she was 3 in May!

Hi Fiona,

Replied to yoru PM.  I think people often think Dexter is older as he has been retired so long!  Thing is, he bowed out before he was 3 - he had such an incredible year in 1997 there was nothing more to do, so he had a last Crufts as his farewell show in 98 - and he was still only 2!

Hi fiona,  He won 16 CCs, 11 groups, 5 RBIS & 2BIS.  His RBIS at Crufts was before he was 2, his last Crufts he got Gr 2.  And now he is clipped right off, and spends the day playing with his toys and keeping "his" bitches in order :)

Yes Sheena, as Dawn and I both said, we know this is the regulation, but  as the society have actually cashed Dawn's cheque, whcih is in itself not only proof it was posted but that it was received too, then I think it is even more proof!  We all know they wont accept a cheque book stub as proof, but it would not be possible to  list all the possible problems which coould occur with an entry, so they just put the lowest common denominator, so to speak.

My boss phoned today to say she's coming home on Wednesday, so I can have Saturday off and come to the show ;) All I need now is someone to hold a dog whilst I'm in the ring with the other one. Wonder if youngest daughter wants to come?:)
