I know! I know! This question comes up time & time again but I really would like to know   what you people are feeding your gundogs on? I have tried many complete dry foods over the 3 Years that I have been a dog owner--but I still have not been completely satisfied that I am doing the best for a long & healthy life for my dog. Is there really a good quality food on the market that isn't carcinogenic? Doesn't matter about the price it's the quality that I'm after. Suggestions & experiences please ----Thanks your help is much appreciated.

My friend who has been a gun dog trainer for many years swears by green tripe, boiled rice, some green  veggies lightly steamed and a bit of grated raw carrot.  He then adds 2 eggs a week and fasts them one day a week.  His dogs are very fit and healthy.  He only feeds 'dry' food if he is away from home with the dogs for an entire day and needs to feed his dogs on route.
