Hi everyone i had my new girl checked over by the vets as her not eating was very worrying,
Anyway the suspected Pyometra they did blood tests they cam back clear just her protien levels were abit higher than usual but they said this happens when a dog is having a phantom pregnancy.
She had an ultrasound scan to check if it was Pyo and she is all clear she is just having a very severe phantom pregnancy she is on Galastop for the next 5days and hopefully she will dry up, Once she has dried up she is going to be spayed as this was very scary and i dont want anything happening to her.
Still cant get her to eat anything but tuna but vet says thats fine aslong as she eating something and that her appetite will return once the phantom has ended.
