what are poppers used for ?
on a site sort of working trials/man work orientated?

sort of leather on a string & thin knotted rope?

ok apparently the poppers go onto the end of the whip??? what use is the whip in man work?/

It is to make the noise of the "crack" in some whips.

The whip is used in the Test of Courage in the PD stake in Working Trialsl; it is also used in Schutzhund.

The dog is NOT hit with anything in Working Trials, the dog must demonstrate that it will not back off when threatened with anything.  Basically it is just another training exercise to get your dog to ignore distractions! :D
