Hi

Waned OES stud dog for bitch due to come into season any time from November onwards. Must be hip-scored and eye tested. Live in Lancashire but willing to travel any reasonable distance.

Does it matter if the pedigrees tie in and your bitches (and ancestors) faults etc are compatible with a potential dog.  There is a lot more to breeding dogs than finding two of the same breed (although health testing for both is a major plus) and putting them together.

Generally the best thing is to go back to your breeder and ask their advise, if you don't want to do this because you did not like something about the way they bred their dogs you should seriously ask yourself if your bitch is suitable to be bred from.  Another avenue is the OES breed clubs (be careful of secretaries that immediately say "I have a dog and you can use him" as again that particular dog may not be suitable)

Good to see you care aboput health checks but you will also need to look at lines and does the dogs lines and bitches lines go together?
