My 'boy' Sweep is a 9 year old Golden Retriever, he has in the last couple of months developed black under one of his eyes, Panda like!  Now he is a very old 9 year old, he has had a rough time of it - Puppy strangles(Vet wanted to PTS at 5 weeks old!) Lymes Disease, Mast cell tumour and all other ailments he also has a lot of 'Lumps', but he is happy and we (Vet & I ) know that his time with us now is fairly short, but what could this be, he is the most loving dog, but has always had this 'hard done by' look about him,which now looks worse with the added 'black eye' bless him.  Any ideas?

Found out at Vet that Sweeps eye is producing more tears and this has caused an infection to under his eye, doubt it will improve now.  Has to have his face washed and dryed daily, he does look a sorry sight, but I have just bought him two new Bandanas to wear, he has been modeling them for us this afternoon, I kid you not, this Dog waits to have his Bandana on when going out for a walk, the Vet calls him a proper Gentleman!

Ive always wanted one for mine, but never got him one, no doubt mine would pull it of and try to eat it :rolleyes:

Sweep now has quite a collection of them now as he gets bought them for birthdays/christmas.  He is quite well known around here too, when hubby took him out a while ago, he didn't put on Sweeps Bandana and many people stopped him and asked why he didn't have one on!
