Hello,
Our 18 month old westie bitch needs a husband!  She is absolutely beautiful and it would be a shame if she didn't have a litter.

If you have a suitable match for her please get in touch.

Many thanks

Please read previous threads on breeding.  You can search by using the facility in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Please think about this very carefully - Westies can have many undiagnosed health problems, so both your bitch and the stud dog should have been checked for these to avoid being sued by puppy owners whose pup may have inherited such a condition - at least you can then prove you've taken all reasonable steps to avoid passing anything on.

Also, there is no proof that any bitch NEEDS a 'husband' - most bitches live a celibate life, and don't miss what they haven't had.  Even though you may consider her beautiful - does she meet all the breed standards?  Is her coat a proper double coat with a good hard wirey outer coat? Is she over or undersized?

Are you also aware of all the health problems possible in an in welp bitch - and are you prepared to loose both your dog, and her puppies??

If the answer to any of these is no, then please think again.........

How can anyone tell you if they have a suitable stud when we know nothing about her!!
What are her breed lines, health test results and show results?
And BTW dogs don't need husbands...just responsible owners, food and shelter.

What the others have said is true & are you prepared to risk your bitches life ? She does not need a litter & no responsible Vet would advise you to breed from a bitch for her health's sake Just the opposite in fact

Why would it be a shame for her not to have a litter? It would be a shame if she died having babies or you couldnt find proper homes for them or if they were unhealthy - the list goes on and on, but she would not think its a shame not to have a litter.
