Not even a week ago our new hamster , Bicuit ,died and late last night Sugar slipped away too. I don't think ive cried so much in ages. After recovering when she had her tumors removed we thought she would at least see her first birthday ; but she got 'wet tail' and got really poorly and we didnt think it was fair to put her through anymore treatment. She curled up by her wheel and died in her sleep. I miss her so much - before we got her i didn't think id be this upset when we lost her, but now i cant believe shes gone.

Thanks to all who have given us help and advice with her over the past nine months.

So sorry to hear about Sugar (and biscuit)
I have had 2 hamsters that have died of wet tail.   One had it 3 times and I managed to keep him alive through the 2, but the last one I just couldnt.  I was 15 at the time and had to seringe rehydration into him every few hours. Which meant me riding home from school morning break, lunch and afternoon break. And staying up til midnight and waking up in the night to give him some more. Think It was every 3 hours. As I say, I did get him through it, but he died a few months after the last attack :( Ossie was about 2

That's really sad to hear; i know how much one can love the small furries. Been there myself...

lets greive together i just had a loss to not matter how big or small they are we love them just as much and get attached just as easy. my heart goes out to you.
