Some people might remember the litter of Dogue de Bordeaux that we had in the summer, today was the Dogue de Bordeaux Club Match meet in Brentwood. One of Britney's pups, a female, Harley won the baby puppy walk, we are really proud as this was our first litter and it was a European Molosser expert that was judging

There was a different judge for the males and the females, 6 females in Harleys class and they both agreed that Harley was the best, it just feels so good to know that we have at least started in the right direction. It is so hard when it is a new breed to be able to try and assess what you should be looking for, but when asked why they has given her the prize they said that she had a fantastic head excellent bone and movement. We are both so pleased I will float into bed tonight BUT this is only one day, it has given us hope that we are going the right way with the plans we have. I have a problem with we were called 10 days ago from a England football player asking for a Bordeaux puppy from our next litter, I know he has a mastiff already, and he seemed very down to earth but I do not want to get into a Beckham situation, as with the puppy they bought, but he is willing to wait until next year, so plenty of time to try and think it through.
