As long as you can put in the time to train both dogs to accept each other, although the Staffy is only a puppy, i see no problems, most of what is said, or thought about the Staffy is a myth anyway they can get along with other dogs if raised properly, and they can learn to accept each other.
Good Luck

So long as your other dog is well socialised there shouldnt be a problem- Staffys can and do get on well with others :)

I keep bitches together and they are big Molosser breeds, i have owned two Staffies both of which were bitches, there can be problems with keeping bitches together BUT only when they are not socialised proporly.  Talk to more than one breeder, pick a few brains then decide WHAT YOU are most comfortable with :) hope this helps.

I've had four bitches together - two spayed, two entire - and never had a moment's trouble.

i know there are lots of instances where 2 or more than 2 bitches can get along great.but for a newbie i wouldnt recommend it.also if you have 2 staffies and they get a hold of eachother and fight it can get more complicated than an average dog fight especially if they have a firm hold and dont want to let go.if you dont know how to break up this situation properly without damaging dogs it can be hard.i would never leave 2 bitch alone personally my self or 2 males.

i have 2 staff bitches and i always have
yes there can be trouble but i think as long as they know you are top dog and they have to do what you say you should be ok.
the only thing with staff bitches is if there is a little trouble then never forget it. unlike dogs that can fight and be ok the next day a bitch will not.  so you have to make sure that, that never happens

Hi there, It definitely depends on training and socialisation, as to whether you can keep more than one dog (whatever the breed). I have different breeds, dogs and bitches, ranging from 9yrs to 3months and everyone gets along fine. But you must keep on top of the pack, give them individual time and training, and seperate them all when you are not around. However well they get on, arguments can erupt over the smallest things (just like kids lol), and they need their own space too. I would recommend using a cage for night time and when you are out, so that they get their own space when they need it! In my opinion (for what its worth) Staffies do get on with other dogs, but you must be firm and not allow bullying, they can be very full on and boisterous (sp). Good luck :D
