My Rottweiler is an absolute nightmare with vets.  They can't so much as examine him without a general anesthetic.

About 1 week ago, I noticed a small lump, which looked very much liked an absess on his gum just abouve the top fang.  It got bigger and bigger, gradually to the size of a pea.  I called my vets, explained the situation, told them I thought it maybe an absess, but for them to examine him would be a nightmare. My vet agreed to give my dog a course of oral antibiotics for 1 week.  These consist of two tablets. One pink and one brown.

This 'lump' has now changed.  Attached to the orignal one, is now a second one, the size of a small pea, but it is red.

Obvioculy, I am going to have to take ,my dog to the vet if by the end of the course, it does not diminish.

I was hoping someone here could give me an idea or perhaps what is is, or what it maybe.

Thank you very much, also of behalf of my rottie - Max.

Why can't the vet examine your dog without a GA?
