Hi,

I have heard lots of good press on here about Burns complete food.  I have a bullmastiff bitch who is 7 months old.  I would like to put her onto Burns but have found they do not do a food specifically for large breeds or junior dogs. Should i wait until she is an adult before putting her on Burns... if so then what complete food could other members recommend in the mean time.

Thanks

Alisha and Brodie

Hi, I feed my bcs on Burns.  Best thing to do is to ring them or check out their website.  They are incredibly helpful people.  My youngest had to be fed the adult from about 6 months old as he was trying to choke himself eating the minibites too quickly.  I spoke to them and said he should be ok and he has been and is now 10 months old and none the worse for it.

Hi,
i've just checked their web site and they do a food called Canine Extra, which they say is for Larger breed puppies.
Might be worth giving them a ring...i have heard that they are very good and will send you free samples.
I have bullmastiffs and from around 6/7 mths i change them over to adult food. Mine are all fed on Dr Johns (silver 18% protien)
and all mine do really well on this food.
Good luck in your search.
Karen.
