Apparently he knew he had damaged his ribs an would be out for the next game so wanted to clear his existing yellow card so deliberately tackled heavily, attracting his second yellow.

He will go back into the next game with a clear sheet.

Having seen the front page of a tabloid in passing on Sunday, it might not have been Posh he was eager to rush off to see!  Silly boy.  Nice looking but not exactly an oversubscription of brain cells.
