I have made my decision on which pup to keep from the litter for showing, a chocolate boy, but I need some advice on the paws please. He is a lab and quite large for his age, he weighed 20ozs at birth. His paws are a good shape but they squidge inwards when he puts his full weight on them. He has very large pads and I am wondering whether the paws will stop squidging as he gets older or will they alway point slightly inward. It is not from the ankles and when no weight is on them they are good paws. I have never seen this before, the rest of the litter is not as large and paws are not doing this. Does anyone have experience of this.

Hi JG, yes it is just the toes turning in, the ankles are straight. When I lift him slightly off the ground his toes are correct, when placing him back down the pads seem to squidge and toes turn in. It is quite hard to describe.
